had to call police tonight

about an 2 hours ago i had to call the non-emergency number for the police department. When i was leaving work there were two cop cars in our driveway. When i got home i was telling my mom about it she said that a place up the road for us got robbed and it was that someone came in and asked for the places hours, was acting weird and then left.

well today after lunch some guy came in our office and asked me what our office hours were for his "FRIEND" and was acting really weird and then left.

so i called Suzanne my supervisor and told her and she called our main supervisior and she said to call the cops

so i did and told them that i noticed the two cop cars as i was leaving and that there was a weird guy in our office today and my supervisior wanted me to call and tell them and he asked me all about the guy (age, did i see what he was driving, was he dirty?, hair color, race, anything that i noticed odd.) i told him 25-30 yrs old. He needed to shave and needed a hair cut...light brown hair...green shirt...baseball cap...skinny-ish...and had oversized jeans on which i thought was odd for someone that was that skinny. The cop said well the reason the cops were in your driveway is because they were answering a bulgury alarm in the next building across from ya'll. i left the office at 7:30. We are suppose to close at 8.

The only reason i could describe this guy so well...was one he was not a current client so i pay more attention to new people...and two...he was just acting really weird...so something in my heart...gut...head...told me pay attention to this guy. And i started almost looking him up and down. The cop asked if there was any logos on his hat or shirt and i told him not that i could remember. The cop seemed impressed that i could remember everything...especially since the guy came in after lunch. Which i told the cop around 1ish...but after i thought about it after i hung up it was probably more like between 2 and 3ish. If i go into the office tomorrow and can remember what client was in the office when he came in i could pin point it to the almost exact time he came into the office.

so now tomorrow as i'm the SAFETY CAPTAIN at our office, i have to send out an email saying to be on guard, be careful when leaving the office, and if you notice a weird looking person let someone know and if someone asks for our hours and are acting weird call the police. And tomorrow i go into the office at 8. NO ONE is suppose to be at the office tomorrow until around 9 or 9:30. Suzanne told me to walk in...and lock the door and keep it locked until someone (co-worker) comes in. I think Suzy is suppose to be the first one in tomorrow...so i'm going to call her after i get to the office and tell her what is going on and tell her to just come in and then we can decide if we want to keep the door locked or not. She has a new client tomorrow at 9:30 so i'm HOPING she gets there before 10 when she is suppose to get them. Otherwise i will be there alone until 9:30 and then i will HAVE to open the door for the new clients...which i have NO idea what the look like. So i'm actually quite scared for the first time while working at Gateway. And in 6 days i will have worked at Gateway for 5 years. I have only felt scared for my life 2 or 3 other times...but they werent SCARY!!!! This to me is SCARY!!!!!!! I'll post again tomorrow night.
